Dr. Denzil S. Vascianna, D.D., C.P.E.

Dr. Denzil S. Vascianna was born in Ashton, Westmoreland, Jamaica, and has been walking faithfully with the Lord for more than fifty years. His life reflects a deep and enduring commitment to Christ—one marked by faith, perseverance, and service.

He began his educational career at Kingston Technical High School, where he studied Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice. He later worked at CAST (now the University of Technology, Jamaica) as a Mechanical Engineering Technician while pursuing further studies in Mechanical Engineering.

After migrating to Miami, Florida, Dr. Vascianna graduated from Miami Dade Community College with an associate degree in Health Information Management. Answering God’s call to ministry, he went on to complete advanced studies in Theology and Clinical Pastoral Education (C.P.E.), preparing him to serve as both Pastor and Chaplain.

Throughout his years of ministry, Dr. Vascianna has faithfully dedicated himself to shepherding God’s people, offering compassionate spiritual care, and helping others grow in their walk with Christ. Dr. Vascianna is married to Beverly Vascianna, and together they share a beautiful, blended family of four children and eight grandchildren. His family and ministry together stand as a living testimony to God’s grace, love, and enduring faithfulness.

With over half a century of walking with Jesus, Dr. Vascianna continues to inspire others through his example of steadfast faith, servant leadership, and unwavering devotion to the call of God.

What We Believe

1. The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God—our final authority for faith, doctrine, and life. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” (2 Timothy 3:16).
2. The One True God: We believe in one God, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in regeneration. His name is Jesus, the fullness of the Godhead bodily. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.” (Deuteronomy 6:4) “In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” (Colossians 2:9).
3. Salvation: We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
4. The New Birth: We believe in the new birth experience Jesus described in John 3:3–5—being born of water and Spirit—making us new creations in Christ and part of His Church.
5. The Church: We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, and proclaim the gospel to the world. The true Church lives in holiness, love, and unity through the power of the Holy Spirit.
6. Holiness: We believe God calls every believer to a life of holiness—inwardly in heart and outwardly in conduct. As we walk with the Lord, we seek to reflect His character in all we do. “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:16).
7. The Coming of the Lord: We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ—the resurrection of the righteous, the rapture of the Church, and the final judgment. Those who are faithful will live eternally with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12.
8. Our Mission: We believe we are called to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ—sharing the gospel in word and deed, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
